The Municipality of Molveno and the Trentino Chess Union, with the participation of FIDE, FSI and Molveno Holiday, are organising the 1st Molveno Open, a chess tournament open to all FSI/FIDE members, which will take place from 22 to 24 August 2025 at the Molveno Primary Schools (TN). There will be 5 rounds of play with a time control of 90 minutes + 30 seconds per move. Prizes will be awarded to the top five finishers, including unique experiences such as paragliding flights, dinners and spa admissions in the Molveno area.
Registration closes on 19 August 2025. Membership is compulsory.
Cost: €40 (€30 for women and under 25s), free for GM, IM and FM.
